HI Moms!
I was wondering if anyone has any good suggestions for preschools in the Troy School District? I've heard of the PALS program but I haven't heard much feedback. Any information would be great! We're on the Birmingham border and was also wondering about the Harlan Elementary preschool program!

Thanks again!

My kids went to St Stephens Co-op preschool on Adams road in Troy and we loved it - small class size, great teacher and very reasonable and you get to help out in the class once in a while so really get to see what makes your kids tick. Good luck! They have a web site so check it out...

Gina - check out Somerset Academy in Troy. My older son went there for 3 years and we loved it!!!! They are fully accredited, have wonderful teachers, very flexible schedules, etc. They are more costly, but well worth the money if you can afford it.

Hi Gina,

My kids go to Troy schools and my daughter will be attending the PALS program next year. A flier was sent out with this information:

The Troy School District will be showcasing their exemplary
preschool programs at the Troy Community Preschool Expo on
Thursday, January 21, 2010. The Expo will take place at the Troy Community Center, 3179 Livernois Road from 6:30 pm-8:00 pm.
If you are looking to give your preschool student the “Right Start to a Blue Ribbon Education” you will want to visit our table at the Expo.
The Troy School District preschools strive to provide our youngest learners an environment designed to promote success when students enter kindergarten and beyond.

Good Luck :)
