As I get down to my last 8 weeks of pregnancy, can anyone give me any tips for being more comfortable at work?
By 2pm, the weight of my belly resting on my hips and legs hurts, my back aches & I can't get comfortable. Sitting on a pillow only help marginally. I walk and stretch too but wonder if you have any other tips that worked for you!

Thanks!

What can I do next?

I bought a nice chaise lounge and put in my office ($125). A cheap portable one might be good. I have to read at work or look at my laptop (putting a pillow under the laptop). Was nice to take a nap there at lunch time. Don't know if it work for you. Keep off your feet and keep your feet up on another chair maybe.

Hi J.:

Can your job provide you with a more pregnant-friendly chair or can you bring one in? Also, are you having a heavy lunch that may cause a heavier weight and pressure in the body and on the organs?

Try an exercise ball if you take one in to sit on. Also if you have a way to prop your feet up part of the day that may help. I'm not as far along, but I do love my exercise ball.

Try a maternity belt. It's supposed to support your belly and prevent strain. I hope everything goes well!

I used to put an empty paper box from Staples under my desk and put my feet on it. It was very effective at elevating your feet.
