My husband and I are a financially secure, happy and loving couple hoping to adopt a baby. We have faced infertility and have been unable to have a biological child. We have a homestudy already completed. We would like to adopt a newborn caucasian baby, but would consider a child up to the age of 12-15 months. If anyone knows of a birthmom who is considering making an adoption plan for her baby, we would be interested in talking to her. We are willing to travel to meet her. Or has anyone adopted through an agency/attorney that they would share their experience with us. We have one adopted son who is the light of our life and we long to add another child/children to our already happy family. A little late in this 'so what happened' post but our life changed in a wonderful way after reading a post from Tena in Littelton. We adopted a baby boy on December 26, 2009. We now are blessed with two beautiful and healthy boys and couldn't be happier! Thank you again Tena for the direction you gave us.

This website is run by a wonderful woman who is an adoption consultant, and it lists many babies that are currently up for adoption. I don't know if any of these situations would be what you're looking for, but best of luck!

You might look into some anti-abortion pregnancy centers. When I lived in Tucson, the ones there kept information on people interested in adoption so that if I girl came in and decided to give her baby up for adtoption they had names on hand.
It's very hard to get caucasian infants in America because (a) they're all too often aborted and (b) the birthmoms renege on the adoptions at the last minute. If this were me, I'd do the following:
1. Place advertisements in high school newspapers.
2. Speak with pastors from as many churches as you have the energy for, so that you are on their mind when a pregnant girl comes to talk with them.
3. Ask the pastor if you may put an advertisement in their church bulletin, or a separate flyer at their congregation's information table.
4. Interview adoption attorneys to find out if they can be a decent source of infants.
5. Stand outside of abortion clinics with a flyer saying, in big letters, Please Let Me Adopt Your Baby! (The letters have to be big because the young girl is going to assume that you're chastising her for having an abortion, so she's only going to glance at the flyer.) Maybe have your husband there to, and he can carry a big sign that says the same thing.
The saddest part of this whole abortion thing is that every single one of those babies could be adopted by church families IN A HEARTBEAT, yet nobody knows this because the mainstream media is anti-church and pro-abortion, so they'll never show that news.

God Bless you! I think it's wonderful that you have adopted and are looking to do it again. Both of ours are adopted, here in Denver, at birth. We have a couple of miraculous stories...
