Does anyone have any recommendations of any products that would help tighten up the loose skin on a mom's belly? I know I need to try doing more crunches, but I'm just wondering what else I can do or use to help.

What can I do next?

You must BOND with the pooch! LOL! Seriously, I think overall exercise is best: walking, running, treadmill or the like!

For me, I had to lose a few pounds for the belly area to tighten up. I thought that it was just loose skin until I got down to my "ideal" weight and my abdomen tightened up rather well. Now...where are those six packs!!!

I think you should try out for power yoga it is one of the best ways of staying fit and healthy. It synchronizes your mind and body and flushing out the toxins from your body.

There are numerous videos on the market that target this area. Borrow some from your local library until you decide which ones you really like. One of my favorites is Prevention's Belly Butt and Thighs with Chris Freytag. Another old but good one (that you'd probably have to get off of eBay) is Denise Austin's Hit the Spot Abs.

It may take a little bit, esp. if you're still nursing. What worked best for me was yoga (esp power yoga a.k.a "heat Yoga") and pilates, esp if you have acess to a reformer. A reformer will add dome resistance to your lengthening and building of core muscles, thus allowing you to see results sooner. Find some friends to do to exersizes with to hold you accountable. Zumba is my new favorite!

Good luck and be patient.

I'm in the same boat. My daughter just turned 1 last week and I still have some loose skin. My husband and I started running and he has been helping me with my ab workout. I have seen some improvement, so I think the best way to go is to just be persistant.
