Hello, I may have miscarried again, but unsure. I have had my period for eight days now and that has never happened. I usually have it for 4-5 days at the most. It started out light, got a bit heavy with cramping after 5 days and back to light again but now for 8 days and counting. I did miscarry last April, but it was much worse and was about 7 wks along. Should I call my Dr.? Or just wait and see what happens? I have also been very very emotional and have been having a hard time controlling my emotions. Thanks Mamas--M. W.

What can I do next?

Hi M., Absolutely, you should call your doctor. Are you trying to get pregnant? I also went thru a very unusual period that turned out to be an ectopic pregnancy, and I didn't have a clue I was even pregnant........who thinks that, when they're having a period that lasts 13 days? (Not trying to scare you). The point is, when in doubt, consult your doc!
Good Luck!

Hi M.:

Just to on the safe side you definately want to call your Dr. If it is a miscarriage you will need medical attention asap and if it is something that can be controlled & stopped you'll need to do that also. Better to be safe than sorry. Best of luck & take care...
