Hello -- can anyone recommend an affordable portrait studio (like the Picture People or Portrait Innovations) or an individual photographer in the Poway, Scripps Ranch, Rancho Bernardo, Rancho Penasquitos area?
I'm looking for a place with trained photographers, little/no sitting fees and reasonably priced prints so we can go often. I've been searching, but haven't seen any.

jc pennys has a program for 20 bucks you dont pay a sitting fee and each sheet is $3.99 I think the 20 bucks is for 1 or 2 years

There is a gal in Poway, her name is Susie Sincock, she did our Christmas portraits. I believe her studio is is called Catchlight--google her. She is fairly reasonable, also, check craigslist, that is actually where I found her.
Hello...At Babies R Us they have Kiddie Kandids Portrait Studio located inside the store. We have two girls (2 and 4). The first year for each we went every month on or close to their birthday and had portraits done. Now we go every year on their birthday plus a few other time during the year. They have no sitting fee and they now take appointments. There is one in Mira Mesa and one in Vista.

There is a Picture People in North County Fair.
There is a photo studio in the Babies-R-Us in Mira Mesa, the name is Kiddie Kandids (www.kiddiekandids.com). They are great with kids of all ages, the appointments are kept short usually 15-30 min. and there are no sitting fees. You can choose as many pictures as you like (no pressure) and can return to purchase more for 90 days. They take appointments and have a few walk-in appointments available each day.
