Put it on your calendar. Big red letters that say "Take NOTHING seriously, dear....you're PMSing."
As soon as you see those words pop up, warn your hubby. Have a few easy dinners ready for those days so you can just go hide, read, relax, exercise, and have a nice hot bath.
Giving hubby fair warning helps a lot. I've told mine, "I love you with all my heart, but my ovaries are making me really hateful today." He usually takes over from there. :-)

ETA: I also often take my irritation out on some project that needs to be done. Deep cleaning the cabinets or laundry room usually takes the wind out of my angry sails.
