Plus Size Jeans

I'm looking for some good plus sized jeans. I'm not having any luck at Lane Bryant, the Avenue, etc.; even if they are skin-tight when I put them on, 10 minutes later I'm struggling to keep them up, and I'm not a fan of belts. I don't mind paying extra for some really good jeans.

What can I do next?

Have you tried Bodacious Boutique? The owner, Paula Guthrie, is fantastic about helping people find just what they need. The prices are really good, too. Preston & 635.

What about "Not Your Daughter's Jeans"? I think you can find them at Macy's and/or Dillards. I've heard good things about them. Good luck to you. Finding jeans that fit and look good is hard for any size!!

The ones at CATO have been very comfortable. Even after washing and all-day wear, they still fit great. I know what you mean about them loosening up after a bit; so annoying. lol Good luck!

I have the exact same frustrating problem. My favorite jeans right now came from Target. I haven't had consistent success finding jeans at Target, but I've found a couple of pairs during the last few years that have been better than Lane Bryant's. Though, even my favorite pair tends to expand during the day. I also bought a pair at Macy's that were good.

If you end up having to go with LB jeans...the sales lady told me last time to buy one size down from what my size actually is...that way when the do stretch out 10 minutes after putting them on they will be the right size. This doesn't always work for me as it seems like I need somewhere in between 2 sizes, but it might work for you.

Coldwater Creek! They have plus size jeans in a variety of colors with a "Shape Me" feature. Great fitting jeans. They are often on sale in their outlet online.

I buy a brand at Macy's called Hydraulics and I love them. They are not made by Macy's and not all of them carry them, but you can call around and find one that does. I buy mine at Northeast Mall in Hurst, and I know that Stonebriar Mall in Frisco does not carry them.

Hi M.,

I own Bodacious Boutique in Dallas. We are the only non chain boutique for sizes 14W-24W. We have several different lines of jeans and varied price points. Please check out our website at www.bodaciousboutique.com. You can click on denim/jeans and see what we have currently. Is there a brand your are looking for? Please let me know what you think. Hope this helps. Have a bodacious weekend.
