Hi Mom's .... I decided to start my daughter and hubby on a Probiotic to help them with immunity and lactose intolerance. I have been doing research and reading reviews and I really don't know which one to buy. Can you girls help me with any suggestions or recomendations? Does anyone use one they really like.. I saw one at Whole Foods is that any good? What about theones on Vitacoast? I appreciate all advise! Thanks!

What can I do next?

I love Florastor. They have one for kids and one for adults. You can get it at Walgreens, just ask the pharmacist. Good luck!

I like the Shaklee best, it is guaranteed to deliver live bacteria and patented.

I use Shaklee's probiotic because they guarantee delivery of 500 million live bacteria to your colon. (It's triple encapsulated, so it bypasses the stomach acid.) It helps me with both my immune system and my lactose intolerance (because I can't give up my cheese!) Go to www.healthyliving4you.myshaklee.com and look under "digestive health".

We love DanActive. I buy it at Costco by the case (24) for about $12.

GO to www.myactivz.com/ilux their stuff is amazing and it has like 106 of the 122 probiotics plus vitamins and minerals. It takes like fruit and it is cheap.
You will find nothing better on the market all organic and the kids love it! I also get their meal replacement it is 100% Organic and the kids get all of their daily fruit and Vegs. Plus it is Organic. My kids call it their shacky shack. It takes like a strawberry smoothie. I called them and the choc. kids should be coming out soon. So for know I just give my kids 1/2 of the adult serving.

My daughter is on antibiotics constantly for an autoimmune disease and her doctors recommended Florastor and Pearl. The pearls are very easy to swallow.

I have been taking Probiotics for years and absolutely love the Florify brand. They are very effective, we feel great, and they are AFFORDABLE. I used to buy my probiotics at Whole Foods and tried a few different brands before I started taking Florify. And we all take them, including my little ones (for the girls I just open the capsule and dump it in a small glass of juice or milk or pour on a spoonful of applesauce).

Call your pediatrician. Mine gave me a sample of one, and of course I can't remember the name right now, and it was for kids and adults. I didn't really know much about them at their time, so I balked at the price and went for a cheaper one. Probably works just as well, but this one is bigger and bright purple, and we now have purple on our couch, and a few pieces of clothing from the drool. :)

I agree with the other moms about Shaklee. Their probiotic is guaranteed and it doesn't have to be refrigerated. No other company comes close to their quality, safety and integrity no matter what supplement you are looking for.

I'm not up to date on probiotics, but if your family gets a sore throat or a regular cold, try Colloidal Silver. It is magnetized silver Ions, sounds odd, but tastes like water, completely safe and I swear by it that cures a lot of common colds. It can be found at most nutrition or vitamin shoppes.
