I am not aware as to whether he knows about eastern medicine but I know that because of his background he is open to homeopathy if you use your own homeopathic medicines. He may be worth looking at. I like my doctor in Encinitas - she supports eastern medicine (I'm into yoga, acupuncture and herbs). You may to give her a call - Dr. Judith Rubin on Sante Fe (practice is called Coast Medical Center).

Check out Ama Mama, located in Encinitas. They are a group of women including midwives, homeopaths, and they just added a woman MD who is holistic. I haven't seen her yet but I like the other women at Ama Mama.
