While my 8 year-old son has a gaggle of school friends to get together with this summer, my 4 year old girl does not have anyone in her pre-school status. I would be more than happy to be the organizer for a playdate or 2 this summer to meet some new friends. Anyone interested?

I would love to meet! I live in McMurray which is Canonsburg. We moved here 6 months ago from Phila. I have a 5.5 and 20 month old. I also have a business I work from home. We are home Tues. and Thurs. all day. I had put out there a message to meet new moms when we moved here. I never followed up with them because I became so busy with getting settled. Maybe you were one of them?
If you would be interested we could meet at South Hills Village at the play area. I know it's a bit of a drive from Canonsburg, but my daughter is 5 and she loves meeting new kids. It's up to you. It is hard when they are young tho. I do understand.

I am in South Park--so a little far for a playdate, but I wanted to suggest looking into summer library programs and Vacation Bible school weeks for your daughter--both great places to meet other 4 year old girls that live close to you.

p.s. I can relate to the part of your profile about the baby fat! I also had my son (and only!) at 39! Man--it's tough! :)
We are in Venetia PA - big backyard, swingset, etc. I have a 3.5 yo daughter and a 1.5 yo son. I work from home as a writer and editor but I have a lovely au pair from Brazil, Camila, who is great with the kids.
