All:

I am considering breast augmentation surgery. I have had 3 kids and have lost significant weight after each one and my breast are just not the same anymore and I am just not happy with them. I am torn on whether to go forward with breast augmentation or not. If anyone has had it done before - are you glad you did? What issues did you have? Any recommendations on doctors in the Katy or Houston area?

Thanks

What can I do next?

I had augmentation 10 years ago. I also had the implants under the muscle. I think most women do, but you should discuss with your doctor. My doctor has relocated to San Antonio so unfortunately can't recommend anyone. I agree that you need to be absolutely sure you want it. I am very happy that I did it. Do your research (lots of info online), when you find a dr. ask for references and talk to them, remember you're interviewing someone whose going to cut you open and alter your body permanently! If you're seriously considering it, you should find a doctor and have a consultation before making your decision. Write down all your questions and bring them with you so you can gather all the information you need before deciding. Goodluck!

I had breast Augmentation after my second child, things were no longer the same after two,as you know. I went to Dr Newall, close to the Galleria. No regrets what so ever. I did it about 1 1/2years ago. I went under the muscle, I went from a sad "b" cup to a small "d" cup.

I just saw this and thought I'd give my two cents worth... I had it done in 1995 and it was the best thing I ever did for myself. I did ask a lot of questions first and debated it for quite sometime. But after all these years, I am still VERY happy that I did this for me.

I had my breast done many many years ago. I was very flat. but I loved the results and always thought that it was one of the best things I have ever done for myself.

But you have to very sure you want it and you need a very good doctor you can trust.

I can not recommend my doctor because he lives in Mexico City, but he is GREAT, one of the best surgeons (he is my uncle). All the people I recommended him were always extremely happy with the results and even my ginecologist told me that it was the best job she had ever seen.

Good luck, I would say go for it!
