L..
I cut them and throw them away. I don't cut them into small pieces, but I cut each ring, then the whole thing in half.
When you go to the grocery store, and you buy soda, juices, beer etc that have the plastic rings that hold them together, when you are done with them what do you do? Do you just throw it in the trash or do you cut them up first before throwing it away?
I always, always, cut mine into pretty much mulch. Ever since I was little. When I was young I saw a video in school about the issue of people not doing it, and the consequences for animals and it has always stuck with me.
What about you?
I cut them and throw them away. I don't cut them into small pieces, but I cut each ring, then the whole thing in half.
I cut mine in case they end up in the ocean.
I cut them up. Just so there are no "loops" left.
Not much has those anymore though...
oh my gosh we don't buy it much but it never occured to me to cut, Now i'll have to , I spend more time fussing with my garbage argg.
I cut them!
I hope more people do too.
Good job! :)
In the once in a blue moon I buy something with them I put them with my other plastic recyclables. Since they are melted down I don't worry so much about them getting around the necks of little creatures.
If I am out and about then I do cut them up to do no harm.
We don't get them very often, but if we do we always cut them up into pieces.
I always cut them also - probably from watching the same video in school :0)
Yep. Rarely buy anything that uses those things...but when I do I cut all the rings and inner rings.
I very rarely purchase anything with those rings but when I do I just throw it away as is. I did not know it was a problem not to.
Cut them up and then RECYCLE them. Don't just throw them away. Even the recycling can get blown away from the trucks or processing centers and end up in the waterways, so always cut them up.
I dont' buy soda ...it isn't healthy, No beer either. The really good small brewery beers come in card board carrying cases. Juice that comes in that kind of packaging isn't organic.
See when you eat organically you have less to worry about the environment. Your children don't get sick and they don't have cavities.
