My family moved to Pittsburgh (Brookline) from Orlando this summer and we have yet to find a babysitter. We've been relying on friends to watch our 1 year old, but then we can't go out with those friends. The holidays are approaching and we would like to be able to go out to dinner with friends and trust that our son is in good care. If anyone knows of a good, reliable babysitter it would be greatly appreciated.

Yes you will miss the sunny Florida weather. I have a great babysitter, she lives in the Bridgeville area and doesn't drive yet, so you'll have to pick her up and take her home. She is great with the kids and very hard working. She is the only one I have ever had in my home that cleans up before she leaves. That is nice. For more info. you can call me

Welcome to Pittsburgh! Which area do you live in? A suggestion might be to contact some daycare places to see if their employees also work as babysitters. My son goes parttime to daycare (he's almost 16 months), and I've had very good luck asking the ladies there, especially the younger ones.
