i believe at walgreens and or cvs, they make an otc homeopathic medicine for pink eye, it is made by similason(sp?) it will be with the visine etc

I think pink eye is usually a virus. There is no need to go to the doctor. I've been and so has my mother and he's said, "uh uh, it's pink eye." Use hot compresses on the eyes to soak off the crusties.

I have heard that breastmilk cures it, but I have never tried it.There is probably a free or inexpensive clinic in your area for your child.
