Hi Moms,

I've been dealing with neck issues for the past 5 years. I'm back in physical therapy for it, and was wondering if anyone "with neck issues" could recommend a proper pillow to use? Where did you buy it?
THANKS!

What can I do next?

Temperpedic (about $100 in Bed, Bath & Beyond before coupon) pillows are awesome. I had a pinched nerve and prior to surgery that pillow felt like heaven. I still used every night! Good luck!! :-)

I have neck issues too from a car accident 10+ years ago. (thank you red light running..about to be having a seizure jerk who broadsided me and flipped end over end over my cougar!). I used to go to a chiropractor back then, after trying almost a year of "therapy" with the neurologist and his massage therapist and the meds to suppress migraines. The chiropractor made the biggest difference to me, and I so wish that I had insurance and could go to one now because I'm having issues between my clavicle and neck now. ANYWAY, ....back to your question......my favorite pillow came from Belk and it is memory foam on one side, and shredded memory foam on the other. It's a little heavy, but I find that it is most comfortable depending of how I feel, I flip sides depending on my needs at that moment. It was just under $50 and I love it! Good luck!

I would ask your PT what type of pillow they recommend, but I would think that a memory foam pillow would give you good support. Keep in mind that the pillow may not be the only problem, though, and you may want see if your mattress is supporting the rest of your spine well too.

I work for a chiropractor and you should try that too! PT never helped any neck issues I've had after car accidents, etc.. We sell tempur pedic pillows and I love them. A chiropractor can order it for you or you can buy online lots of places..just don't get an imitation!

Nothing to be nervous about..my kids and I have all been adjusted since we were babies! It's safer than taking most prescription medications!
