Take one while she's sleeping, they look so angelic. She'll be a poser eventually, she's just not ready yet.
How do you get your 2 year old to take a good picture? There are times where she will let me and then times she won't. Her grandma on her dad's side is really interested with her so I send her pictures when I can. I want to send Valentines day pictures and I managed to get one really cute one but I need two, one for a foam teddy bear frame and one for a heart v-day magnet. So just wondering if there are little things you do or how you explain it to them so they will let you take a picture.
I forgot about this question.. haha sorry it was a crazy week. Sue X- Fricken hilarious.
I agree about the sleep pictures. And I'll try to catch her naturally instead of telling her I'm taking a picture, maybe it will help. I ended up getting one more good picture so I have 2, and yeah the 2 different frames were going to the same person. I'll definitely have to try these suggestions in the future. Thanks Moms <3

don't laugh. well you can. for whatever reason i have this all cloth doll and if you bang her head on the counter both my kids think its hysterical. wrong but funny. at least they both smile : )
It does not have to be a staged, photo.
Just take everyday moments, and candid photos.
I am sure, her Grandma will be happy with any photo of her.
Just take several, and send it to her. Make a little photo album of it.
Of everyday photos of her.
Wait until she's sleeping. Doesn't your heart melt when you see her sweet self all cozy in her bed? Grandma's will, too. Once she's really asleep, you can put a prop in with her if you want -- a big paper heart or a picture of Grandma or a teddy or a cute ribbon on her hair or something.
When she won't give you what you want, want what she'll give.
Always have the camera on them... for like a whole week take 1000 photos if need be. It really does work.
don't let her know she's being photographed. Some of the best picture I got of my kids caught them "unaware".
Ice cream for dinner, I know I know. But I swear it works. I have four kids and to get their Christmas photos done every year. I promise to give them Ice cream for dinner. Their all smiles and no one is upset because the photos turned out bad. I do give them their actual dinner after the ice cream.
If you can afford it, get a camera with a fast shutter speed. If I had a nickel for each great pic i've missed in the second between when I pushed the button and my camera decided to fire, I'd have the money to buy that nice a camera!
can you take the one pic that you got and get a copy made at CVS or Walmart? Or are the frames going to the same person? I tend to send the 'everyday' moments to relatives because when I try for the 'Rockwell' picture it never works out. Unless I take them to a pro. Then they're prefect little picture people following directions.
literally follow her around with the camera after you get her all ready for the picture.
