Yep...she died yesterday.
Odd thing about her (compared to today's comedians) is she only made fun of herself and her husband, Fang.
She was quite attractive and they had to "ugly her up" for television!
She was a classic.
man...I liked her!! She was funny and brash!!! I loved her laugh!!!
I loved when she was Boston Legal...that was funny!! Her stand up was really good too!!!

I heard this morning.
She was a riot!
She was on The Muppet Show (we have it on DVD) and she's hilarious!
RIP
Yeah, I felt a touch of sadness also when I heard she had passed. She was hilarious. I keep picturing her with her cigarette holder and Bob Hope!
Cheryl.... wow. I love that W.! She was as bawdy as they came and had a great sense of who *she* was. If you haven't seen it, check out her documentary: Goodnight, We Love You.
We loved you, Phyllis!
She withsood the test of time. I remember her when I was in elementary school in the 60's. She was still sharp as a tack just last year when I saw her on TV
Aside from the entertainment she provided, she was one of the FIRST female stand-up comics. Totie FIelds was another. Without the work of these early brave women who fought the stereotypes and the male-dominated business, we wouldn't have all the awesome female comedians we have today! A real trailblazer!
She was really sharp till the end. It seems like they're dying (oops, passing away) like flies these days. :(
