I was going to start storing my photos on Shutterfy, but then I was told about Minus.com, and Costco's photo center. I want a good place to store all my photos forever. Any ideas about those three websites?

I have used Costco for many years and probably have over 10,000 photos stored there. Their prices are great and I can pick up my order at whatever Costco I want (they can mail it to you too, but I've never used that option).
I also use an external drive to back up my photos. Good luck!

I use shutterfly for my family's photos/website. I like it due to people just can't view my photos unless they join my website with my permission. Works well for our relatives that are not local and those that are out of the country. I believe in storing on laptop, backup drive, printing off for photo album as well as having them accessible online to relatives and friends. Sorry, I don't know about the others; hope you find one that works well for you.

I use shutterfly for lots of things...I dont use it to "store pics" per say, but I can say that Shutterfly has GREAT customer service and they just seem to be a very nice company. My mom recently passed away and I made her a HUGE scrapbook of her life, which I wanted to print and give to close relatives (I needed like 10 books). So I e-mailed shutterfly to see if they could offer me a discount for printing them...expecting maybe a 10-25% off or something...they sent me 50% of my entire order coupon! I thought that was way more than they had to do. Anyways, goodluck in finding a spot that works for you : - )

I don't have experience with anything but costco, but I can say that costco's site isn't really a "forever storage" type site. If you don't order prints after a while (it's like a year) then they will cancel your account unless you order something.

The Kodak Gallery is a good site for storing photos. Our family has been using it for years. I dont think Kodak will ever go out of business, but then again ya never know these days. I've had pictures stored in other places before and then you get the dreaded email stating that your account is closing because they are shutting down the site, it sucks. I have so many pics on my computer that I have yet to upload to Kodak. It's when you wait too long, it becomes a total chore to sort and save the ones that are keepers. The Kodak gallery keeps all your familys albums stored and has lots of other perks to it as well as far as gifts and printing and such.
