Peyton Manning - Indie and Denver Moms, I'm Dying to Know....

...what you guys think about all this? (I know this is old news...this is just random thinking). How has your city reacted now that the dust settled? Personally, I'm glad Peyton is in Denver and out of our division. Now maybe with our QB in Houston healthy, we can take another shot at the playoffs!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

I agree ya'll...if Peyton goes out of commission, who better to fill his shoes than Tebow? I also wish Peyton went to Dallas - they have (or had? not sure about current transactions) some decent receivers and running backs. It would have been interesting to see how that played out. Go Texans! I think our boys got more than a glimpse of what a winning season looked like, they liked how it tasted and are going to do whatever they can for a second helping :)

I'm from WA and I am a TEXANS fan :)

Anyway...I think Peyton was/is an amazing QB and athlete. He can guide a team like no other. I worry about his injuries though. I think he is taking a huge risk and should have considered retiring (like Favre should have retired sooner than he did).

I feel bad for Tebow. He is not the best QB, but has the potential to become one!! He did great things with the Broncos last year and then just got tossed aside. I hope he does well with the Jets!!

I'm from Indy but I am a Lions fan (they are so close to getting to a superbowl, it will happen!) I laugh that Indy put all their eggs into on basket with manning. The team as a whole is pretty much starting from scratch so we will see what kind of coach they really have. I think the move for him is a big mistake, he should have stepped into a coaching role and not risk his health, I think he would be a pretty good coach.

Not a Denver fan...but now he's in our division. But I'm not worried about he's a wuss and going to re-injure himself and be done.

I'm not in either, I'm in Texas too. I know what you mean about getting Peyton out of the division. That's a great compliment to his talent.

I wish he would've come to Dallas. I may be off base, but I think Denver should've kept both Peyton and Tim. Peyton is a great veteran QB, the best. He would've been the best possible mentor to bring Tebow up to his potential. They have similar humility and work ethic. That could've been a great situation for Denver to grow a new franchise player and build a new dynasty

I can't speak about the Football much , other than I agree with others, he's taking a huge risk with his injury. I doubt he will play more than a season. He obviously has great love for the game and is following his heart instead of his head isn't ready to quit.
The City of Denver is lucky to have him, he will do wonderful things for the community.
