Perfume You Get Compliments On

PINK SUGAR by Aquolina! You have to go smell this one! It's sweet and subtle and I always get so many compliments on it! The other one is Dior Hypnotic - it's very sexy and unlike any perfume I've smelled before!

I am embarrassed to admit this but I get a lot of compliments on Paris Hilton perfume. It's the one in the pink bottle with black stripes.

I'm afraid I just have to say that no one will EVER get a compliment from me about ANY perfume. There is a growing population in the hundreds of thousands of us that get extremely sick at even the smallest wiff of perfume. For me, I get an immediate horrible headache, almost blinding, itchy eyes, ears, and pain in my ear drums, itchy scalp, and panicky feeling.

Be VERY certain that anyone you are buying perfume for is not only completely okay with it, but that they also don't live with or work with anyone that suffers horribly because of it.

I always, always get compliments on how good I smell when I wear Philosophy's "Falling in love" Love, love, it!! Smells like blackberries, and its light and fresh and it lasts a long time. I put some on yesterday afternoon and I can still smell it on me this morning. Its wonderful. My hubby just loves it and always makes sure I have a bottle.

Every single time I wear the original Juicy Couture (the one in the pink and black box...NOT viva la juicy)...I get compliments. "Mmm what smells good." "Mmmm you smell good!" From both men and women! The cutest was a teenager working at strabucks...he very nervously asked me what perfume I was wearing, when I told him he swore to me that he wasnt trying to hit on me, he wanted to know to buy it for his girlfriend...lol he was sweet.
It's my main perfume, all others are back ups.

I bought Romance by Ralph Lauren after smelling it on someone else.

Also, ditto the Philosophy Falling in Love. If you want something lighter - get the body wash. The scent is strong enough that you can smell it if you are close, but is less likely to bother people who are sensitive to smell.

All the Victoria Secret Perfumes are wonderful.

Victoria's Secret "Pink" or "Very Sexy".

"Happy" is my usual but I also wear "Ed Hardy by Christian Audigier" (DON'T LAUGH!)

One of my guy friends said it reminds him of a strip club. It smells great and a LITTLE goes a looooong way! It's a great mood adjuster.

I just smelled that Paris Hilton perfume on a coworker a few days ago and asked her what it was because it smelled fabulous! Too funny, Stacey.

I get compliments on my Gucci II perfume (light pink liquid in clear bottle).

My husband loves Tendre by Prada - but it is a very heavy/romantic scent and I only wear it for evenings out. The Gucci II will carry you through all day and/or night.

I also get compliments on Ibiza Hippie - GREAT summer scent.

I'm gonna try the Juicy Couture!

* EDITED to add - I buy all of mine online (any dept store, ebay, etc. Just google the scent you want and hit the shopping link up top). Ebay is also fabulous for finding samples of scents for a low price - that way you can try lots for little money!

Ladies, whatever scent you love, I guarantee you there will be about 1 person out of 20 who will be made ill by any significant exposure to it.

I'm one of those lucky people who cannot tolerate scents, and have had to leave restaurant meals and movie theaters, lose my place in lines, and dodge people wearing strong scent in public spaces that should ideally be accessible to everybody. A strong exposure can create such problems as headache and nausea, breathing difficulties, dizziness or fainting, confusion and other mental frustrations, and lost sleep for days afterward.

May I, on behalf of all the sensitive people in the world, request that you wear ONLY enough scent for your intimate friends to detect? If you knock sensitive people to their knees in public, we aren't allowed to mention it because it would be rude. But wearing room-filling scent is NOT good manners. Just saying.

I have worn clinique happy for years. Luv it. But my sister bought me juicy couture viva la juicy for xmas and I wear it everyday if I leave the house or not! When I leave the house, iget compliments all the time! Give it a try

I like fresh clean scents. I've found a brand called Clean. I love the scents... warm cotton, fresh laundry, fresh outside scent. and a couple more. I got an assortment for Christmas that had 4 2 oz bottles in it and LOVE it.

I also like Philosphy, the one that smells like soap and water. Very clean scent.

I've had nice comments on both. I can't wear much due to allergies. I use a lotion if available and spritz.

Accidently TOO much of any scent and I am back in the shower to get it off me because I will be sick all day.

I got White Diamonds for christmas and have gotten many compliments on it. I think you can get it anywhere.

Light Blue, by Dolce&Gabanna. It's very citrusy, light and pleasant.

Kiss Her by Kiss. Yes Kiss the band. OMG I love it!!! It's very subtle and not overpowering. No matter who I'm next to they compliment how amazing the smell is. It's one of the most unknown perfumes out there and I'm so glad that I know about it and am one of the few that wear it. (I just hope it stays around. They used to carry it at Wal-Mart, but stopped and their is no where around here that sells it :()

I am very picky, I wear DKNY (women) Hard to get, You must order online at Perfume.com, And the other is dolce gabbana light blue. Both have a beatiful smell. Anytime I wear one or the other men and women both will ask me what im wearing... I dont like to tell my close friends because i dont want them to smell like me! -lol! My husband is always following me around telling me he loves the way i smell ;) Try both. -PS- Both these wont make the people around you sick!! I hate when someone smells cheap!

Love Spell from Victoria Secret!

Hypnotic Poison by Dior. Its a vanilla base and I always receive compliments when I wear it. Its in a red bottle. It is my all time favorite perfume. The thing about perfumes though is that they smell different on different people so your best bet is to go to a department store and smell them yourself or even try them on. How much fun to get some new perfume!!!
