I have never really liked my peditrician but now I have gotten to the point that I hate him. He wont approve physical therapy for my younger son because he's young he'll grow out of it.
Does anyone know a good peditrician in the downtown Rochester, Greece or Henrietta area?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thank you all for your suggestions. I went with Dr. Kilmnick and I couldn't be happier. My boys really like him and he actually listens to what I have to say.

I go to Dr. Joseph Kilimnick and he is on North Goodman near University. You can take 490 and get right on N. Goodman from there. He is a wonderful pediatrician and the office staff is wonderful as well. He accepts everything but Medicaid for insurance. He does take Child Health Plus, and the managed care plans for Family Health Plus. He runs his own private business so it is a nice cozy atmosphere.

My physician was Dr. Kilimnik on S. Goodman Street, He joined the group
a few years ago when it was Schwartzberg and Soule. Then the older physicians
retired and I think Dr. Kilimnik is on his own at the office. He is a very nice
physician.

We see a family Dr. who is absolutely WONDERFUL!!! Dr. Obrecht in Henrietta at Rush Family Medicine ###-###-#### (prompt #2). Recommend everyone we know there.... always thorough and on safe side, great about letting us decide things as parents and amazing bedside manner. He even tells me to call in if one of us gets sick with the same thing the other has that might be contagious (like pink eye) to avoid another trip to the Dr.

As you can see, there are many opinions and people have different experiences at different offices. You have to find the right fit for you. We have had nothing but fine medical care at RUSH but someone else had problems. You need to take your children where you feel most comfortable and you need to like the Dr. and feel confident in their diagnosis. Good luck to you and God Bless.

Please call Michael G M., MD. He is a pediatrician in Henrietta, New York. He supports attachment parenting, breast-feeding, and is a peaceful, gentle doctor. He will listen to parents, and feels that his patients are his medical family. He also gives parents his CELLPHONE for after hour emergencies. He is also brilliant, on the faculty at the Golisano Children's Center AND TOP PEDIATRICIAN in Rochester, NY for 2010! He seems to good to be true, but he's real.
