Dr. William Cambell on 16 and Mound. His office is right in the office building next to chase on 16 mile road.
Hi, I'm looking for personal recommendations of pediatric dentists in the Sterling Heights/Clinton Twp. area. My daughter is 15 months old and already experiences "white coat fear" so I'm very reluctant to take her just anywhere. Thanks!
Thanks, everyone! We have an appointment with Dr. Makowski (http://www.mychildsteeth.com/) in August. I appreciate all the recommendations!

This is in Rochester Hills but might be worth the drive.
Dr. Tract on Rochester Road and Hamlin.
They are great!
I just took my 3 year old in for his first appoinment and brought my 20 month old too. My 20 month old is very skidish and actually wanted to sit in the chair!
In my search.... there aren't many Pediatric dentists around. So This may work for you unless somone knows of one closer to home.
Tiny Tooth Dental. 17 and Dequindre. Both my kids love going there. He even came into the office on a Friday night when one of my girlfriends kids knocked his two front teeth back!! She was not even a patient and he saved his two front teeth!!
I take my kids to Dr. Joe Tuazon at Tiny Tooth Dental. They are located at 17 and Dequindre. Really great!

I see you already have a bunch of recommendations, I'll add mine too. Hopefully you'll find a match that fits your needs and is good for you.

She has a website too: http://www.smileshapersdental.com
We really like her. She's warm and personable and her staff is nice too. We've never had a problem with her.
Good luck!
I agree with the Dr Tracht recommendation in Rochester - his staff are really excellent and trained to just do kids...
hey D.,
i can recommend my dentist. his office in on dequindre just north of 18 mile. his name is Dr. Richard Raad and the # is ###-###-####. the office manager is kathy.
his practice is not pediatric in terms of a specialty but he treats all ages and my son has been going to him since 2 1/2 years old. the hygienists are always so gentle and they accommodate his anxiety quite well. i can't sing his praises loudly enough. :-)
good luck! :-)

Dr Delaney & Plunkett &....... they are at 17 & Garfield
They are very nice and the dr's are great! good waiting room too http://www.mychildsteeth.com/
My dentist (Dr. Milt - Gentle Dentist) is in St. Clair Shores (Little Mack & Martin) which is quite a drive for you, I think. He's great with kids!
However, here's something to think about when choosing her first dentist, especially if she's already skiddish.
~Will they allow her to come in with another family member? IE: My son't first visit to teh dentist was to sit with my husband in the corner and watch me get my teeth cleaned. The hygenist talked him through my cleaning, showing him all the different gadgets, etc. He was even allowed to get some water squirted in his mouth and let "mr thirsty" (the sucky straw thing) suck it out. He saw the sights and heard the sounds before he ever had to come in. that is SO important!
~ Does the hygenist make it fun? (Calling things kid friendly names, etc.
~ Is the office family friendly: IE: Does the office have a "kids wall" where they take pictures of the kids? Are there toys or kids books in the waiting room? Do they have bright pictures on the walls in the rooms, or even TV's that the kids can get a kids channel on? (My son gets to watch nickelodean every time he comes in - it's great!). Do they have a treasure chest or goodie drawer or balloons for after their visit?
Just things to keep in mind...
GOOD LUCK!
