Hi,
Carmen Dana is a wonderful pediatric dentist. Several of our friends go to her and love her. My son is just 16 mos., but we will go to her when he is of age.
When do you start taking you child to a dentist? My son will be one next week and has 7 teeth. I called my dentist and they said not until around 3 years old, and to just start brushing his teeth with a small child’s tooth brush. 2nd does anyone know a good pediatric dentist in Omaha?
Hi,
Carmen Dana is a wonderful pediatric dentist. Several of our friends go to her and love her. My son is just 16 mos., but we will go to her when he is of age.
We see Dr. Jane Bennett in Omaha. She is great and both of my girls have fun going to the dentist.
Her website is; http://janebennettdds.com/home.html
Ella had her first visit at 3 because that is what I thought was the norm. When my second was born they told me they wanted to see her before she turned a year....it turns out she didn't get any teeth until she was 13 months old so she went to Dr. Bennett for her first visit at 16 months instead.
My daughter had some discoloration on her teeth and so we took her at 18 months. I was so worried her teeth were rotting! We saw Dr. Hohenstein at ###-###-####. He was wonderful!! He cleaned her teeth and said there were no problems. We go back in 6 months for a check up. HIGHLY recommend him!
My pediatrician had me take my daughter to the dentist when she turned 3. I think some people take their kids earlier, but I think 3 is the norm. My daughter goes to Dr. George Rakes at 140th and Q. We really like him and his staff has been great too!

There is a dental office called Small Smiles. Their address is 311 N 76th St, Omaha, NE 68114. Phone: ###-###-#### and website: www.smallsmilesusa.com I have not taken my children there because we moved out of state, but that's where I was looking at going because it's a clinic designed for children.
I recommend Dr. Dana -

Dr Bryan Holstein (sp?) near 180th and Q st. Very good dentist. My son is soon to b 3 and has been to the dentist already 3 times for checkups. The layout is great. A big train goes around the ceiling. Video players above the tables with headphones for the kids.
