Hi. I just moved to Omaha 5 months ago and lucked out with my pediatrician. We have had 4 so far and this one is the absolute best ever and better than I had ever hoped for. His name is Dr. Severson and he is at Physicians Health West on Dodge. Let me know if you can't find his number and I can find it for you. Good Luck with Omaha.
You already have a lot of great recommendations but I thought I'd recommend our ped as well ~ she is excellent.
Dr. Katherine Anglim ~
Children's Physicians Eagle Run (138th and W. Maple)

Dr. Charles Sprague is a great pediatrician out at Boys Town Pediatrics which is located at Lakeside Hospital. I highly recommend him!
Dr.Stephenson ###-###-####, she is at 168th and Qst. she is with the childrens hospital. Extremly patient, and explains things very well.
I don't know where you are located in Omaha, but our pediatrician is wonderful - her name is Karen Williams. She and her husband are both pediatricians and they have kids between the ages of 18 months and 5 years - so they are right in the frey with the rest of us.
My son was the same way. Picky eater, late in developing in speech. When he turned four and I had him in a Bible School Preschool class I noticed how far behind he really was. The school system tested him and put him in early intervention. Call around and get him tested. My son was tested through the Omaha Schools over the summer. I believe the department is called Early Intervention.
My son has SIDs and Autism. (I am in NO WAY saying your son has these.) The picky eating, speech delay, fine motor skills delay, etc...all fall under these diagnosis.
I've been really impressed with all the doctors at Boystown Pediatics - they have great ENT doctors too - sounds like you may need one...
I came to Omaha on May/06 and before I took my daughter to the doctor I look around and I found doctor Julie L. Rothlisberger C.M.D. and she is really great doctor. ###-###-####. I hope you find what you ara looking for.
First, it sounds like your child is a normal 2 year old...assuming that mine is a normal 2 year old and assuming that my pediatrician is right.
We see Dr Jennifer Smith at Children's Physcians - Harvey Oaks.
I've been going to Dr. Mary Dek at Gold Circle Pediatrics (part of Boystown Pediatric group) . It is close to Oakview Mall. She's very good and both of my children love her (boy 3, girl 22 months) She is knowledgable and personable. I would highly recommend her. I have also seen three of her partners during sick visits over the years and they were good too.
I Love Dr Mark Domett, Gold Circle Pediatrics, I live in Olde Towne Bellevue, and he is way out on 144th(near Oakview mall) but the drive is totally worth it. Just last week my 3 little ones went for checkups(on Friday) he called me at home Saturday, just to let me know the blood work came out great, I dont know to many Drs who would do that. My kids call him Dr Donut, they love him. My little sisters saw him growing up, now their babies and mine all go to Dr Donut.
Hi,
Welcome to Omaha. I have taken my son who is now five to Dr. Stienhauer. He is great!! He works out of Boys town pediatrics. They have several offices.
Best of Luck.

I take my 29 month old son to Children's Physicians. The address is as follows: 8701 West Dodge Road Suite 404
Omaha, NE 68114 The phone number is ###-###-####. My son's primary doctor is Dr. Kari Krenzer and I love her so much! We have seen all the doctors in her office at one time or the other and they are all good. I hightly recommend them. Dr. Krenzer has been with us since my son's birth.
Good luck!!
I strongly recommend Boystown Pediatrics, all of the doctors are wonderful, I don't hesitate to have my kids see any of the doctors that are available, which makes scheduling so much easier. They are located centrally at 88th and Center. The phone number is: ###-###-####.
Dr Laura Nielsen is wonderful. I never mind going there because I never wait any longer than 15 minutes before seeing the dr. She is with a group of drs that are just as amazing as she is. ###-###-####. She is located atr 8701 Dodge St #404
My opinion and experience is that Boystown Pediatrics are the some of the best phycisions in the Omaha area. They also have so many outlets and resources if your son needs to be referred for further testing. My child currently sees Dr Sprague out of the Lakeside location, but I have heard wonderful things about other physicians at the Gold Circle location.
Our pediatrician is awesome, Tom Byrne at Village Pointe Pediatrics. He is gentle and soooooooo good with kids. If you need a family dentist, I can refer you to my husband at Corpuz Family Dentistry ###-###-####. He is also good with kids. We have 4 ourselves! Good luck, hope you get a hole of Dr. Tom. Be blessed, S.
Hi. My name is A.. I have 3 boys ages 4, 3, and 8 months. My husband and I are relatively new to Omaha. We moved here in February of this year. I was fortunate to find a Dr. that I really love. Her name is Dr. Mikuls. She is part of Children's Physicians. There are several branches. The one that she practices out of is located in the NP Dodge building right on Dodge Street. The office is located on the 4th floor. She is very good. Our boys really like her. I am sure that any branch of Children's Physicians is good. I know there are several locations. When we were in Omaha house shopping, our youngest son got really sick and spent a night at the Children's Hospital and was cared for very well. Hope this helps.
