Hey ladies, I'm running low on ideas for throwing my son a 3rd birthday party. Especially in a small town. We are also on a budget, so we can't do a lot. It will be in the beginning of Feb, and it's been kinda chilly so I don't think I could do it outside, and I can't do it at my house. I can use all the help I need.
Thanks

What can I do next?

What about a community center, do you have one? You could also consider doing it at a restaurant like McDonald's or something...they offer parties and if they have a place to play that is about all a 3 y/o needs. Doing it at your house would probably be cheapest but if you don't have the space then you're just going to have to make it work someplace else I guess!

Call around to the local children's museums. Many will allow you to simply "rent" their party room for a small fee- you can bring your own refreshments and decide whether or not you want to pay for museum access.

Also consider fast food restaurants. You pretty much pay for a happy meal and decorations!

We went to Chuckee Cheese. We didnt buy a party - way too expensive. We just brought some baloons and a cake and presents. They have a website, you sign up and get a coupon for your childs birthday. it's a large pizza, 4 drinks and 20 game coupons for $22. We did that and bought extra tokens. We had fun and my son loved it. Theres no law that says you have to buy a party package at McDonalds either. Just show up, buy soem Happy Meals and get your party on. Or you could put up a tent in the living room and have a campout slumber party.
