Hi S.,
I'm just wondering if you got any responses to this posting? I have been looking for something to do from home as well, and it does seem like everything I see is a scam. Thanks!
S.
I currently stay at home with my two wonderful litle girls. I would like to work from home part time. I read things in the paper and have eve tried some things but they all seen to charge me money and are a scam. Does anybody know of a way for me to find a real part time job that I can do from home? I do not want to spend a lot of money to find out I have to put an ad in the newspaper and charge some other unsuspecting person. I am not looking to get rich. I would just like some extra spending money. If anybody knows of a good place to get started I would appreciate it.

Customer services for Informercials. I am an inactive contractor with them (had PC problems but as soon as spring break is over plan on going active).
Hi S.,
I have my own business as I am partnered with an health and wellness company. I quit my corporate job as a network analyst to become a SAHM for my 6 month old daughter.
The company has been such as blessing because I have the ability to get residual income each month and care for my daughter.
Please visit my website to determine if this is something that may be of interest to you.

I have a Mary Kay business that I run out of my house. You can make great money and you get to control your hours. I can answer any questions that you might have. No Strings Attached! :) I Promise!
You can try the following website which lists work at home employers for different occupational backgrounds:
http://www.whydowork.com/work-at-home/employers.php
Remember, if you are asked for any money or registration fee upfront for any work, 99% of the time it is a scam. I have yet to find one that is not.
I have a Paralegal background and do work for Cypher Services, Inc. from home and take care of my 1 year old son as well. They are located downtown loop and I liked the fact they were a company located in Illinois. I do document coding work and it is extra money only. I got their name from the above website I gave you. You must have a legal assistant or Paralegal background to work for them as an independent contractor.
Good luck with your search, It is the best list I found on the web that provides you with legitimate work at home opportunities/employers.
I know it is difficult to find, but it can be good extra money if it works out for you. I will probably have to be going back to work eventually like most mom's out there but for now, something is better than nothing.
Hope this list helps you out, take care.
I am involved in a home business that is allowing myself and thousands of other women in your exact situation the freedom to make money but not sacrafice being with our children.I share products that people love and enhance their quality of life while doing the same for my own. The satisfaction of a home based business is amazing. I can be as successful as I choose to be and the pride of reaching goals on my own is a great feeling. I am leading my life again instead of it leading me, in small ways now but with big dreams ahead! I would love to tell you more in detail but am not sure what all I can say here in terms of business names. But I guarantee you this is not a scam, just an amazing opportunity that is changing many lives! Please respond for more info.
Hi S.,
You may or may not get a number of responses similar to mine, but I just thought I'd share my experience for what it's worth. Have you ever considered starting your own business through a direct sales group? I personally would have NEVER done this myself until I had a home show party for Usborne Books this past January. Now please know I'm not the pushy type and not nearly an expert since I just started this business myself, but I'm happy enough to share it with you.
I'm a mother of two girls, a 2-1/2 yr old and 1 yr old. I work part-time in HR for a bank but hope to have one more child in the next year and the cost of day care would outweigh the benefits of working my current job at that point.
After having this book party, I kept thinking "I can do that" and I kept asking questions and finally decided to give it a try. There is minimal investment and you really make the money back quickly in just one - two shows.
I never would have considered such a job years ago, but my children are everything to me right now and I really want them to develop a love of reading so this was something I could do that I could be passionate about and if it doesn't work out, I have a great library of awesome books for my kids. This is not a get rich quick scheme, but it has proven profitable for a number of people.
I won't go on and on, but I will encourage you to check out my website at www.EncourageYoungReaders.com and see the products. Then, if you would like to learn more, please let me know. Perhaps, Usborne isn't right for you but another company would be...just make sure it is something you believe in and can be passionate about and I'm sure you will succeed, make some great spending cash (25% commission for home shows), and have fun!
Good luck in your search for the right opportunity.
Sincerely,
V. Windbiel
