A few years ago my daughter said, "M. why dont you get with it and get on the computer?" Now, she says, "M. why dont you get a life and get off the computer?"
Does your child ever comment on how often you are on the computer?

Mine has not, but a good friend of mine, at pre-school the teacher was making a project with the kids and had asked what they would change at home and her son said, "I wish my mom wasnt on the computer so much". That kinda broke her heart. So she made it a point to get on the computer after he went to bed.
From the eyes of our kids we can learn alot!
Yup, when he wants to sit on my lap and my laptop is in his way.
I'm almost 44 and my mom is 65 and I STILL freak out how much time she's on the computer day and night. She'll send emails at the CRAZIEST times of the day. Take a BREAK already mom!
yes- I am trying also to limit my computer time. And to makesure that computer time is not interferring with family time. Infact- off I go to spend some time with my hubby. Thanks for pointing that out.
My #1 new years resolution is less computer time especially when kids and hubs is home. #2 get back into my regular workout schedule. Was doing great until NOvember- paying for it with the 1st workout soreness now...uggg
Funny you should ask, yes my daughter asked me on New Year's Day, if I could go one day without using the computer. I am trying to be cognizant of her request and reduce my computer time.
No because she knows we run our business from home and we are constantly making sure deliveries are on schedule, material is being produced at the right time, and I am working on the Quickbooks to maintain the finances and taxes properly plus............. it supports her lifestyle which is pretty darn good.
I actually put her on the payroll starting this year and she is learing how a business works.
She is on her laptop a lot with her school research, homework and maintaining her grades.
