I'd say talk to a different doctor, as this one doesn't seem to be helping you much. But a good book is "Fertility, Cycles and Nutrition" by Marilyn Shannon. She explains how what we eat affects our cycles, and recommends what vitamins to take. She recommends taking flax oil every day, and it really helped me. You might benefit from her suggestions. Also, if you want to learn more about your cycles and how to get pregnant, a Natural Family Planning class could do wonders! Many people think of NFP as a pregnancy-avoiding technique, but it's very effective as a pregnancy-seeking technique! They do tell you that the pill really throws you off, though. It will take awhile for your body to adjust, unfortunately. But there may be things you can do in the meantime.
