Dave and Busters in the Frisco Mall is a great place to go. It has a bar but it also has a restaurant, and they stay open until 1:00 a.m. (I think) It has been a while, so I can't remember. :)
Does anyone know of a good place in Frisco or McKinney that my group of girlfriends can go and stay late, but NOT a bar?! So we are looking for a place that is a good place to sit around and talk but is open until mid-night so we can stay there late. We use to go to Starbucks, but they close at 11:00 p.m. and we are not ready to go home. Anyone have a good ideas?

It's hard to find anything open late north of Dallas. My husband and I were trying to get a drink one Sat night by it was so close to midnight and most bars in Plano, Frisco, etc. all close at midnight. We had to go to Addison to find something that was staying open late.
But I was going to suggest Cafe Brazil in McKinney for you. They stay open until 2 a.m. on Fri and Sat.
McKinney, 3190 S. Central Expressway #530, McKinney, Texas ###-###-#### Hours: Sun-Thurs 6am-11pm, Fri-Sat 6am-2am

I don't know if you consider it a bar, but Snuffers is open until Midnight. They also have margarita specials Mon-Wed. It is at the corner of Central and Eldorado. My girlfriends and I have run into the same problem when we have our Mom's night out!!
My nieghbor and I needed to get out one night after the kids were asleep and we went to the Cheescake Factory in the mall. We didn't get there until after 9:30pm and didn't end up leaving until 12:45am. It was a nice place to relax and indulge!! (It was kind of busy when we first arrived, but died down shortly after.) Good luck!
Down Under in Frisco in the Super Target shopping plaza (Preston Rd & Gaylord) opens til midnight. On weekend nights they stay open later and they have a live band. I'm not sure if this is the atmosphere you were looking for.
