Hi! Great question - it's so overwhelming, isn't it, between everything on the shelves & everything Dr Oz recommends - but nothing specific for teens. I'm a triathlon & health coach and I believe that 1) the best source of nutrients is whole foods and 2) given the low nutrient content in today's foods, due to the way our agricultural processes have stripped the soil, we need to supplement - especially MINERALS. My family and I have been taking a whole food supplement that is based on aloe vera and sea vegetables, for 7 years now and it's changed our lives. It has over 120 nutrients and is the best source of minerals, trace minerals and ultra trace minerals around. My kids are rarely sick, my allergies have all gone away as has my chronic winter cough. I haven't had a cold in years. Because it is a whole food, it is appropriate for all ages, it is completely bioavailable (your body starts to absorb the nutrients as soon as it hits your mouth; whereas you can only absorb 10-20% of pills). Several of my friends give it to their teens now too, especially those concerned with athletic performance (the kids notice they have much more energy now). Last year I became a distributor after seeing how my friend with fibromyalgia and lyme disease took it and began to regain her health, when medications hadn't helped her. I'm happy to email you information if you like, feel free to email me: ____@____.com. Thanks!
