I have a few gift cards I will never use. I've heard of online sites where people can sell gift cards. After doing a quick search, it looks like there are a lot of choices. Have you ever used one of these sites? How was your experience? Was it easy? I won't bother with it if it's too much hassle. Thanks in advance!

People are going to be hesitant to buy those online. There are a lot of gift card scams out there (I wrote a white paper all about gift card fraud for work and it was shocking how many fraudulent cards are out there). I'd look for a site that offers buyers some sort of guarantee, so they're more likely to use that particular site.

One thought is that you might consider donating them to a local charity to help people who could really use the cards. You can take the donation as a tax write-off, too.

You can also try family and friends. I was able to get some gift cards with credit card points, but I didn't shop at that store....my dad bought them off me. I will look back for answers though, because I still have a few others and didn't know these types of sites were out there.

Why not regift them for birthdays/Christmas or use them to buy Christmas/Birthday gifts?
