todays one neat thing for me is the Google Homepage. I've been strumming that guitar off and on all day. Almost makes me think I could actually play guitar. It's so cool. I wish they would leave it up or that I knew another place to use my computer mouse as a guitar pick. Can I get some computer mouse sheet music please?

What's your one neat thing for the day?

What can I do next?

I didnt know it recorded. Cool. Not that I played anything worthy of recording. Oh and thanks for telling me about Borders. My husband is gone for a month working in the woods with no tv. I wanted to send him some books but was dreading the cost. So, that's going to be very h elpful for me. Thank you. Ya'll have some really neat things. I liked the homecoming story. Im a bit of a voyeur. I really stumbling upon true emotion.

This is such a fun question T.. I love it when Moms ask stuff like this that force me to think about the blessings that I have in my life, because sometimes I know we spend far too much time dwelling on the bad.

After battling a two-month plateau in my weight loss, I think the scale has finally moved!! That's DEFINITELY my neat thing for the day. :)

My tomboy daughter and tomboy niece went with me to Fashion Bug to buy bras and my daughter actually asked me to buy her a sparkly necklace and ring. I almost passed out...but I bought them...thought that was pretty "neat"!!!

Today I learned how to pair my phone to the bluetooth in our car. Now I can leave my phone in my purse, get in the car, and the bluetooth starts playing my music on my phone!!! I can even answer calls on it, and I don't even have to pick it up! NEAT!

One neat thing for me today was my hubby and my 3 y/o surprising me by stopping by to see me at work and bringing me a granita!! We had a huge meeting this am that I've been busy getting ready for and hubby knew I was exhausted. I'll thank him properly tonight :)

Cool! I hadn't seen the Google page; now I'M playing it and it records! :)
**It records and gives you a link to your song** :D

My neat thing has been going on for about two weeks now. I discovered that Borders.com allows used books to be sold on their site and it comes out MUCH cheaper than Amazon PLUS, I can have them shipped to the store for FREEEEEEEEEEE! Yay! I'm so glad because I was able to get my son a series of books that he's really into and I got myself and my 6 yo DD several books we wanted for just a buck each. I'm always near Borders anyway so it's no problem to pick them up when they come in.
This is exciting for us, we're a bunch of book lovers over here. :)

I went to my Thursday sewing group and finished a baby quilt. It has squares made from triangles and came out great. I had my grand daughter with me and she played with her dinosaurs and let me sew! THATS a good thing!

The fact that my younger two are finally getting the bug...Crazy for me to think that is neat...nope. I knew it was coming...I have been waiting not so patiently since Monday morning for it to come...So when my four year old threw up and I actually got most of it in a bucket..and only trashed one pillow(yes, I threw it away..this is the third or forth vomit happening for it so it was time) was a good day for me. so, my over preparedness has some what paid off in the sense I have not have to scrub anything more then tossing the trash bags and spraying it down with disinfectant.

My youngest is now half asleep moaning, so I know it is only a matter of time before he is throwing up...as long as I can see it coming I am ok..It when I get woken up at three a.m. to find a pile on the floor by my bed I start moaning.

I also dont deal with this sort of sick very well. I am personally terrified of throwing up ..So, when they get sick, it is hard for me to comfort them closely because my brain takes over and I automatically think I am gonna start vomiting too. I am a big vomit sissy:)

GREAT question!

My neat thing for the day happened when I was driving to my work meeting downtown. I was at a stop light, and I look over, there is a car parked in front of a home. Out of this car steps a well-built man, probably late 20's, and there is a girl on the porch of the house. As he approaches, she starts crying and they run to each other and embrace. It was so neat to see! It was clear she was very surprised by his arrival and that it was a very emotional reunion for both parties.

He looked like he could be military, but that is just me speculating based on his appearance. I am going to say it was a homecoming! Other cars were watching this unfold as well. We got to share in that moment with them all because they live on a busy street!

I didn't realize I could play that guitar on google!!!
