I used Michelle Irvin out of Round Rock Hospital and would HIGHLY recommend both to anyone. I love my OB/GYN and felt well taken care of at the hospital.
Hi,
I am new to the area and wanted to know if anyone has used one of the following doctors:
Noble Doss
Chris Seeker
Paul B. Murphree
Also, does anyone have any opinions on the following hospitals for delivering babies
St Davids Austin
Seaton Main in Austin
Round Rock Medical Center
I used Michelle Irvin out of Round Rock Hospital and would HIGHLY recommend both to anyone. I love my OB/GYN and felt well taken care of at the hospital.
I have had experiences at all those hospitals, plus Seton NW. I do not recommend Austin NW Medical Center (St. Davids), or RR. Both of those hospitals were just not great. I LOVED having my baby at Seton NW, the doctors, the maternity center - everything was great. They have a great rooming-in philosophy and are very family centered. They also have a super fast ER. Seton Main was also fabulous when I had my surgery. The doctors, nurses, everyone really take good care of you.
Sorry, don't know any of the doctors.
I've known a lot of people who have been to Dr. Seeker and they love him!
I delivered at Round Rock Medical Center and it was a fantastic experience. The room wasn't very big, but the staff was wonderful. The nurses were very attentive and I had trouble with nursing so the lactation consultants came in several times to see me. Plus, they gave me the option of having the baby room in with me or stay in the nursery. I've heard that other hospitals don't have that option. I highly recommend them.
I have two little boys myself one almost 10 weeks old. I have heard great things about Dr. Seeker. I go to Dr. Shashoua who is in the same group as Dr. Murphree and they all seem so great. My dr. is great as well and has made both of my deliveries go so smoothly. Both of my experiences were at RR med. center and my husband and I both could not say one negative thing. All of the nurses were outstanding, L &D, postpartem, and nursery. And yes, one of the anesthesiologists at RR is very good looking! I did not have him this past time, but do remember from the time before! Good luck with everything, it's hard being new but these are some great names to begin with.
My aunts have used Dr. Seeker and really liked him...
I have be seeing Dr. Murphree since 1987 a couple of years after he started his practice and Barb his nurse is the best... I had my son (he is 3) at RR Medical Center and is was a very good experience.
I delivered both my children at Round Rock Medical. Their women's center is top notch. The delivery rooms are beautiful, their nurses are attentive and they have a very good looking male anetheasiologist (sp?) I love that facility. The have wireless internet connection, and a really good food service. If I were to have another child ever again it'd definitly be at Round Rock
Hello, I had one appointment with Paul B. Murphree when my doctor (George Shashoua) was unavailable. They are in the same office. He was good, he made me feel very comfortable. If you are interested, George Shashoua is a very good doctor and I would recommend him to anyone. I delivered my baby in January at Round Rock Medical Center and had a very good experience there. All the nursed were great and the facility was very nice.
Good Luck!

Hi T.. I have 4 kids and 3 were born at Seton Main and I really liked the doctors and the nurses there. I have heard of Dr. Murphree and it is all good. I had Dr.Rosa Moreno and there has never been a more amazing doctor that cared so much about me and my baby. I have heard some not so great things about Round Rock and my sister who has had 3 babies at 3 seperate hospitals (Seton Main, St. Davids and Seton NorthWest) she said she liked Seton Main and Seton Northwest the best. If I can help out more please feel free to ask.
