I moved to Austin, TX 4.5 years ago and had a very bad experience having second child and now I am pregnant again and I really need a very good OB/GYN to go to?
I had to have two C-Sections at the same time with my second child b/c of the OB/GYN ignorance! I had a c-section on my first child and it was great and I didn't feel a thing but that was in a different state. So, please if you know a good OB/GYN in either” Austin, Cedar Park, or Round Tock" area I would be very thankful.

What can I do next?

Hi E.. My name is M. I am a single mom of 4. I have had 2 children early so with my last child I was considered high risk. I was working for Dr. Yohe at the time who is only GYN and she recommended I go see Dr. Michelle Irvin she is in Round Rock. She was great she saw me every visit and closely monitored my baby through Ultra sounds. needless to say he was born six weeks early and she did have to send me to St. Davis to be delivered because they have the best neonatal unit. She is a wonderful Doctor her number is ###-###-#### and she is next to Round Rock Hospital.

Sincerely, M.

i went to renaissance women's group (dr, litzinger)for my OB needs and had such a wonderful experince they are now my primary gyno. everyone on staff is female (i really appreciate that) except dr. darby who does the ultrasounds.

also i had a pretty detailed birthplan and they respected my wishes. at one point during the delivery i had to have an I.V. (which i didn't want) and the dr. was very nice and explained why it was necassary and made me feel very comfortable.

also i never waited in the waiting room more than 15 mins - usually i got right into an exam room once i checked in.

had a 9lb baby boy with no complications and minimal pain ;)

dr.litzinger also reccomended our son's pediatrician whom we love!

My OB/GYN is Dr. Merrit and she is part of Renaissance Womens Group (mentioned in other reviews as well). I love her and I have referred 3 friends to her as well. All of them were really pleased. Check her out!

Ditto on Dr. Uribe! He is really amazing and caring! His staff is wonderful! His nurses have been with him for a very long time. That says a lot about him. He is with Austin Area OBGYN, http://www.austinobgyndoctors.com/

My dad, who used to work at Seton OR, actually recommended Dr. Uribe. He wanted to make sure I was in GREAT hands! When it comes to delivery, you should also request anesthesiologist, Dr. Kronberg. My dad made sure to tell him he had me, his daughter, on the table!

I have also heard of great things from Dr. Seeker at the same practice.

My babies are very proud to be Uribe Babies!

Good luck!

Dr. Frank Hinds at the Lone Star circle of care ###-###-####)office next to the Round Rock hospital on 620 is GREAT. The staff and Dr. Hinds are very understanding and listen to what you want and what you need. I wouldn't trade that whole office for the world. I'm having my second baby and feel very comfortable with his care. I think the office will work with you on a sliding scale as well if you need help with payment. Best of luck!

Dr. Kimberly Rutter. She is located in downtown Austin off of 12th street and Trinity. She deals with High-Risk Pregnancies only. (of course there are other high-risk prego docs there too, that are just as good) You are high risk since you have already had two c-secs. They do take most insurance, although they do not take medicaid or medicare anymore.. Good Luck.. They are wonderful. They helped me with my high risk pregnancy and I ended up having a healthy girl!!!
