I'm looking for a new OBGYN who delivers at Torrance Memorial Hospital. Anyone have an OB that they really like in the South Bay? Thanks. I think I'd prefer a youngish female.

What can I do next?

I love her. She left a group a few years ago and started a private practice, when I got pregnant with my 3rd, I found out where her practice was and went to her. she is young and really listens. she is right by torrance memorial. she has delivered 2 of my 3 children.

I recommend Dr. David Lu in torrance.

He takes a variety of insurances and I really like him.
He delivered my baby via c-section in 2010 and I have almost no scar at all.

My OB with our 3rd child was Dr. Cristal Lynch in Torrance.
I really like her, she's wonderful, BUT, the wait times in her office are outrageous, both to get an appt. and also when you are there for a scheduled appt. you wait and wait and wait and wait.

Also, you might want to check out Dr. Allen. She ended up delivering our 3rd, because our baby was born on a weekend in the middle of the night, so we got the on call doc and not our own doc. Dr. Allen reminded me a lot of Dr. Lynch, very very nice, great doctor. I delivered at Torrance Memorial, so obviously she delivers there.

FYI, the doc that delivered our 1st born is now retired. The one that delivered our 2nd will remain nameless. I liked her personally, but her office staff was disorganized and unprofessional, and my friend that is a labor and delivery nurse at Torrance Memorial said the nurses don't like working with that doc, so that was kind of a red flag for me.

Now that I am done having kids (unless hubby's vasectomy reverses itself), I am maybe going to consider a new GYN...maybe even one that just does GYN and not OB, because then you aren't stuck rescheduling appts. if the doc had to run out and deliver a baby during your appt. time.

Dr. Ben Naghi was great, and he has a young female OBGYN in his office - Dr. Rodriguez. I only met with her once, but she also seemed great. I would recommend either of them.
