What about this place: www.vnafoxvalley.com/? It's a bit far for you, but they might take the medical card and would probably take you regardless of how far along you are.

Have you called the IL Health Care Benefits Helpline to ask which ob-gyns take the card? Here's the info: Health Care Benefits Helpline - (866) 468-7543 from http://www.dhs.state.il.us/page.aspx?item=44574.

I went to two different ob-gyns in the Aurora area and was very happy with both: Dr. Harmon at Fox Valley Women & Children's Health Services (http://www.fvwchp.com/) and Dr. Motycka at Dreyer (http://www.dreyermed.com/component/doctorfinder/?view=doc...(

Hope that helps!

Have you tried Dr. Brian Egan at Joliet Women's Health Center? He is wonderful & also has two other doctors in his practice (one male, one female). I believe at least some of them take the medical card. They are located on Hammes Ave. near St, Joe's Hospital. Good Luck!

My OB is in Hinsdale and I go from the Plainfield area and will deliver that way as well. Not the most convenient but I really love the practice and have a lot of faith and confidence in my doc. I know they take the medical card but just not sure about the timing of your pregnancy. Here is there info:

Hope they can help. Good luck with your LO!!
