My son was born five years ago by c-section. Ever since then I have had not had a regular mentstral cycle. About 6 months ago I started getting it regular again well in October I didnt get it. Then I had it the first week in November (very heavy) and this week I have had it lightly. (not as much as regular but more than spotting) Does anyone know why I would be getting it so close together? Thanks for any help.

I have no idea why your getting your mensis so cloise together. I too have had problems with my cycle since I gave birth to my daughter 2 1/2 years ago. For the past 3 months, I have been using a hormone cream that has made a big difference for me. I highly recommend that you look into it. It's called restored balance and here is the link:

Hmmm...Have you been under stress lately, or just going through an important change in your life, have you changed your diet, or what are you eating in general?

I know it has major impact on your periods to the point where it can make them disappear for a while or make them on the opposite heavier. Just pay attention to your body, be more self-aware so to speak because hormones are a powerful thing. Physical and mental states are closely connected. Also, make an appt. with your gyno, wouldn't hurt.

It seems like you should be discussing this issue with your gynecologist especially if you're considering having children again.

It sounds like your hormones are all over the place. Things do change after you give birth. You don't say if you were nursing at all. That can affect your hormones too. If you were regular before giving birth but haven't been since, I would see your ob/gyn and make sure they really investigate why this might be happening. I would also consider seeing a naturopath or someone holistic to look at all the things that might be affecting you. Are you getting enough rest? Are you going outside every day? Is your diet healthy? All these things are factors. Be well.
