Have you ever been there? Please tell me about your experience!! Could you stay there all day, and not be bored? My boys are 13 and 15, will they like it? We have talked to some people we know, and they say their teen boys loved it. But I wanted to get other opinions as well. Is there anything for the adults to do? What about the food there, and expense? Thanks for any input you can give me, negative or positive!!

What can I do next?

We went to disney in the spring and stayed at nick hotel.. we loved it! That being said, my kids are 4 and 5... they were excited to see the big characters at breakfast and meet and greets... the pool area is a blast, water slides.. the mini golf is really small not that great. However if you have your car or a rental right down the road is a walmart, target, mini golf etc and 5 mins from disney. The food was sorta pricey at nick hotel, but then again if you have a suite where you can make your own food you will save $! they did have a deal where youbuy a mug you can get coffee/hot chocolate refills for your whole stay for $1, that was good for me and hubby. The pool is heated as well, just incase you were worried about weather. If you call the hotel directly you might get a better deal than booking it online, They gave us the suite room for $99 a night which was fantastic!

Hi, my family stayed there for a week in late June 2010. At the time my kids were 5, 5, and 12. The main activity is the pool area which is fun but I would imagine for teens the excitement might not last more than a day or two. There are a couple of shows, the Sponge Bob show was cute and lasted about 30 minutes. There is a food court with a couple shops on the property so you can eat on site if you wish. With all things in Orlando, it is on the pricier side but that's part of how it rolls here (I live just outside of Orlando). I would assume you are going to be visiting some of the other attractions around town, right? If so, then I don't think you would get too tired of the hotel. If it's all you are going to do, though, I think the novelty will probably wear off after a few days. We stayed there because our family was relocating from Dallas to Clermont, fl. Our furniture arrived with two days still left at the hotel so we asked the kids if they wanted to finish the stay and all three said they had had enough...we had already been there for six days. If you do decide to go, be prepared that for some reason the Sponge Bob rooms are the most expensive...kind of crazy since all it is is wallpaper LOL

I only know of people with young children that have been there (to see Dora and Diego and such) but there is a mini golf course and lots of pools and things to do.
I know there are buffets on site.I know there is at least one bar. It is very very expensive.

We have never been so this is just from friends. I had friends (a couple, a three year old, and 11 month old) they did a mystery shop at the nick hotel they were there for 2 days, 1 night and spent $800. It was a job so they got their money back plus some, but she said it wasn't hard to spend that much. :)
