Hi,
My husband and I stayed at Etta's place in downtown Fort Worth. It is next to what used to be Caravan of Dreams. I have attached the link.

Happy Anniversary!!
My husband and I will be celebrating our anniversary soon, and we are looking for a nice hotel in the Fort Worth area to stay while my in-laws watch our kids here at home. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to stay? We love bed and breakfasts, but our priorities would be clean and semi-affordable (around $150 per night is all we can really afford).

Happy Anniversary!!
Check out the Doral Tesoro at http://www.doraltesoro.com
They are out by the speedway. It is a great place and you really feel like you are getting away. Make sure you check out the romance package! It includes: An overnight stay in a deluxe oversized room;a romantic dinner for two (50.00 Maximum) in our Creekside Cafe overlooking the golf course and gazebo; Iced-down champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries delivered in the room upon the arrival of guest, and a breakfast for two the next morning. With the two meals, etc. its like $219. But you can get just a room cheaper. It's worth it. The Gaylord is great too and close to restaurants and shopping.
I like the stockyards hotel!

Gaylord in Grapevine
My husband and I stayed at the Worthington in downtown ftw one time and he got a special package that included a carriage ride and Sunday brunch. The whole package was less than $200. It was the most romantic weekend!
The best hotel in downtown Fort Worth is CLEARLY the Worthington. That's about the price range for a standard room but it's close to all the action, walkign distance to bars, restaurants, night life.... and after all... it's just a room... try expedia.com or something for a cheaper deal... maybe priceline.com or something to see what you get as far as price -- b/c I'm sure they are a little pricey. If you stay Saturday, they may have a brunch on Sundays too I believe... if not.... you might want to consider the Gaylord in Grapevine... great hotel too!
