Hi! My family just moved to Shoreview and I am looking for a great pediatrician in the area!
We go to Northern Lights Pediatrics on Lexington and County Road E and also see Dr. Tuohy. We love her, but all of the doctors and staff there are wonderful!
Sorry I don't have a recommendation for you but I would be interested in what you find out. If you'd be willing to share what you learn that would be great. We are moving to Shoreview in mid-Aug from St. Paul. A little about me...stay at home mom who works part time from home for the U of M doing event planning. I have been going to him for 11 years and he is the best. I have 3 children and they ALL love him. He loves kids and is great with them. He cares. The clinic is open on saturdays, sundays, and holidays from 9am to 10:30am for walk-ins so you don't need to go to ER or Urgent Care. All the doctors there are great. I live in Ham Lake and still see him.
I absolutely LOVE Dr. Mukalla at Fairview Lakes (Wyoming, MN). It's straight up Hwy 35. The drive might be a tad bit longer.. but it's worth it. (Probably 20-30min. from Shoreview). The clinic is part of the hospital, and if you ever need to use Urgent Care or the ER, you never have to wait very long.
(I also LOVE my OB/Gyn, at the same place, Dr. Anderson)!
The small town atmosphere is great, and it's the only place I've ever been to were I haven't felt rushed, treated rude by anyone on staff(even the front desk!), and the Dr's usually stay on time pretty well.

My daughter had a WONDERFUL pediatritian until we switched insurance! Her name is Dr. Clare Neely and she is at the Health Partners in Arden Hills (right off Lexington, just south of 694).
She was GREAT!!!!

I bring my kids to MinnHealth right off of 96 and 49. We see Dr. Elizabeth Detlie. She practices Family health so if your looking strictly for a ped. this isn't going to help, but trust me she's awesome! I've thought about trying an actual ped. but I just can't leave her she is so kind, gentle, will take extra time for your questions, calls you on the weekends if you saw her on friday with a sick kid. I highly rec. her.
