New to IL Need to Meet Some Moms with Toddlers And/or Preschoolers

I have a 5 year old and a 2 year old and live in Des Plaines.

Hi I just moved to elk grove from Des Plaines, im originally from London UK, just became a Perm Resident. I have been living in Chicago for 4 years dont have many friends with children, my daughters age
I have a 3 year old girl, i would love her to be able to meet other children her age, and for me to be able to meet other people to, and i also love to workout.

We live in Elmwood park..i don't know how far that is from you.

My 3yr old is also in prek, (he loves it) at the moment im working full time, we had to let one of the girls go and i had to take over her hrs.
But were hoping to find someone by the end of the year.....then i'll go back to my reg 2day per/wk.

Two other moms and my self are tring to get together, if you'd like to join us, if not we can always meet up sometime.

I saw that someone ref you to meetups.com, i tried some and i hate to say, alot of the moms where alot older then me and it was just kinda acward.......not very much in common.........but maybe you'll have more luck....

Actually my daughter is close to your little ones age. Have you been to the elk Grove library? they have a great kiddie play area!! The Pavillion has jumps & Jiggles from 10-12 ( Play area- cozy coupe cars, slides, blocks, all kinds of fun from ages 1-5!
There's also Stratford mall will 2 kiddie play zones
