Burn - apply moisterizer constantly. Aloe is great. I also like noxzema which helps ease the pain and discomfort.
Lactose - my doctor recently told me I'm probably latose intolerent, but didn't do any special tests, just told me to take the over the counter pills. . You have lots of options, there are tons of latose free products. You can take the over the counter pills. You can get the calcium from other sources. You can eat cheese, most cheeses do not contain latose, especially hard cheeses like cheddar. OR you can do nothing.
Dryer - my dryer is almost 20 years old. Nothing fancy, nothing to break. Personally for the majority of us the basic models do the job, no need for fancy steaming, etc. I hang 90% of my stuff to dry.
