I have a really good digital camera. However the one main problem I have is how long it seems to take to snap the pic. I have small kids, so when I catch a cute moment I need it to snap NOW!!!
I'm looking to stay around the $300 mark. Obviously great picture quality, zoom, but most important INSTANT snap.
Thanks ladies

Go for Cannon if you have not already. Their new cameras are amazing, and pretty good priced too.

Canon rebel, you will never miss a shot. There is a setting for several shots within one click, you will love it.

I also love Canon. In case you didn't know, if you hold the button halfway down, waiting for a shot, it'll focus and wait until you're ready to snap the photo. Then when you're ready for the photo, finish pushing the button all the way, and it'll take it when you need it. Sometimes it will delay if you have the flash on and it needs to recharge the flash in especially low lit areas. I have a Canon Powershot S5IS that I love. I can't remember how much it cost. I am going to be buying a more advanced camera one of these days. I want one that I can manually focus:-)

That was my biggest pet peeve too! For Christmas I got a Nikon CoolPix and it has a feature called "sport continuous" that I use on my kids. It takes about 11 photos per second. If the lighting isn't good then the pics sometimes are blurred (can't use flash on this setting) but usually daytime photos come out fine.

Yep, I'm jumping in to say Cannon too. I bought the ELPH and never missed a shot with my little one. It's just now slowing down a little six years later. Worth the investment.
