ARE YOU KIDDING??? I can't even pronounce half those toxins! Aluminum is NEVER a good thing just on it's own. Get some natural cream at Whole Foods!
I was wondering if this is safe while breastfeeding. The ingredients are: Aqua (Water), Glycolic Acid, Cetearyl Alcohol, Ceteareth-20, Decyl Oleate, Isopropyl Palmitate, Citric Acid, Propylene Glycol, Isocetyl Stearate, Arginine, Isostearic Acid, Ammonium Hydroxide, Dimethicone, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Dicetyl Phosphate, Ceteth-10 Phosphate, Shea Butter (Butyrospermum Parkii), Phenoxyethanol, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Xanthan Gum, Disodium EDTA, Chlorphenesin, Methylparaben
Thanks for the responses. I used a similar product pre-pregnancy that I got from my dermatologist, and I loved the effects. I'm not using it now (while breastfeeding), but I wanted to see if the Neostrata line was safe during breastfeeding. I couldn't find any info on that specifically, but after plugging in individual ingredients to the cosmetics search, it looks like the answer is definitively "no."

I wouldn't suggest using that cream EVER even when not breastfeeding. WHy would you want to put all those chemicals in your body? Your skin is your largest organ and those ingredients are gross.
If you want a firming cream get some clean oils from WF or online. Also, just for a fyi sugar consumption leads to high wrinkles. I've been reading this book called Suicide by Sugar by Nancy Appleton she's a dr and what I've read if crazy! You can get it from your local library.
Peace
hi mellisa, i would personally not use that while breastfeeding a baby.but if you still want to, i would ask your ob dr first. the rule is if you cant pronounce it/ not a haveing all natural ingredients its probably not good to use. (my personal opinion.)
Unless you're rubbing that on your breasts where your baby can ingest it, I'd guess that it's not a problem. I don't think something you rub on your skin topically is likely to get into your system in huge enough amounts to get into your breast milk in big enough quantities to have an effect on your baby. It it were me, I wouldn't sweat it. Some of those ingredients look like ones found shampoo, face wash, shaving gel, etc.
I"m not sure. You can go to the cosmetic database and type in each ingredient. It will show you haw bad that particular ingredient is, the risks and side effects. Hope that helps!
