My family and I are looking to have a family portrait made, but I need some unique ideas of where to have the picture taken. I am really looking for a fun place to have them made. Any suggestions?

What can I do next?

A dear friend of mine an fellow mamasource mom :o) is the most fabulous photographer Elizabeth Boyce at www.earthmamaphotography.com and her shoots are all done *on location* rather than in a studio. We did our family session with her as well as my maternity and birth photos for my 5th baby. She is so great to work with and we are planning a BIG family shoot with all the extended family soon!

JcPenney Portraits always has lots of fun props and photo ideas. I go to the one in Plano at Collin Creek Mall. I really like the photogapher.

A lot of people have photos taken at the Dallas Arboretum. Depending on the time of year, they often have cool "kid theme" stuff that would be fun. I have also taken my kids to one of the nice wooden playgrounds. Not sure where you are, but Kid's Kingdom in Rowlett is very nice and even has some trees. They have a wooden castle, space ship, etc.
