My Mom is our family seamstress and is great at hemming/alterations. She lives in Colorado Springs. Let me know if you would like her to help you out. :-)
I am a brides maid in a wedding here in a few weeks and I am needing to get my dressed hemmed. Everything else on it fits perfectly its just way to long. I live in Aurora. Does anyone know of a good tailer?

eric's tailors on colorado. a little pricey, but does superb work.
Most dry cleaners offer tailoring. I just had some jeans done by the cleaners on Smoky Hill and Orchard in the King Soopers shopping center( next to Starbucks).
There is a good alteration shop located on Mississippi and Peoria. I am not quite sure of the name, but it is located in the shopping center with Safeway. I have used the lady there as well as several people I know and she seems to do a good job. Hope this helps. I can get you the exact name if you want it just let me know.
I have been going to Artistic Custom Tailor for years. The lady who owns the shop is Pranee (pronounced Prawnee) and she is wonderful and very reasonable. I have literally been going there for about 10 years and if you tell her I sent you, she may even give you a discount. It is located at 225 and Parker Rd. in the same shopping center as the bar Majestic. You will be glad you met her and she can handle any of your sewing needs.

Judy Nelson ###-###-#### does alterations for wedding parties. She hemmed my dress when my daughter got married last summer and I was extremely pleased. She'll look at the overall fit as well to make sure it all fits properly. I felt she was reasonably priced as well.
