Needing a Babysitter

hi there. in response to your request for an occasional sitter, i can refer my cousin. Shes great! She is however 16, but is very mature for her age and often watches my two children
(one whos almost 3 and a 9 mo. old). sometimes i ask her to bring a friend with to help her out. my kids love her and again, shes great for a night out, dinner and a movie...you name it. she does live in StPaul, but she may be able to find a ride on occasion, and would be more than willing to be picked up. (days of the week are usually fine too.)

This is where I got my occassional babysitter, Sara. We have five so we never get out, either. She's pricier than what we were paid as teens, $8 an hour for two. I also live in Apple Valley and provide inhome care and am willing to do occassional babysitting in the evenings. Another thing you might want to consider is swapping nights out with another family. My husband and I have done this with another couple we met whose son is close to ours in age. It works great, it saves money (that can be applied to the night out :), and I personally feel more comfortable leaving him with someone who is more experienced than a teenager. Another added benefit is that he has a pal and they pretty much entertain each other for the night...

I just thought that I would offer a bit of help if you need. I am a mother of a 2 year old and I live in Burnsville. If you ever need a night out with your husband or a weekend afternoon of shopping you can always ask me. We live in a safe, but fun house. I am not really looking to earn a whole lot of money just more social interaction for my daughter. If you are ever in a pinch just let me know. I know how hard it can be to find a good babysitter in your area.
