In July ME AND MY CHILD WHERE BURNED OUT OF OUT HOME WE JUST GOT A NEW HOME BUT HAVE NO WAY TO PUT FURNITURE IN THE HOME DOES ANY ONE KNOW WHO I CAN TRY TO GET SOME HELP WITH I LOKED TO FIA THEY SAID NO CHURCHES ALL OF THEM THE ONLY ONE I FOUND WANTS ME TO GET A VOUCHER... BEFORE THEY CAN HELP
A LADY BY THE NAME OF PEGGY HELPED ME OUT A GREAT DEAL SHE OFFERED ME A WHOLE LIVINGROOM SET WITH A TV STAND AND OTHER HOUSE HOLD ITEMS I CAN'T SEEM TO THANK HER ENOUGH SHE HAS BEEN A REAL TRUE BLESSING TO ME AND MY CHILD AND I WILL ALWAYS KEEP HER AND HER HUSBAND IN MY PRAYERS........THANK YOU SO MUCH .....

I am sorry to hear about your lose. I am not sure if this will help but, my husband and I are currently getting rid of some funiture. 1 sofa sleeper a love seat a lazy boy and entertainment center. We have the salvation army coming to pick it all up on Monday Oct 16th. If you are interested I will cancel the pick up and you are welcome to the funiture.

I am sorry to hear that! I know when me and my family moved into our first new place, all we had was a crib for the baby a futon mattres, a play pen and the tv on the floor. We asked friends, family if they had anything or if they knew of any one who did. But they didn't! But our church has some really wonderful people attending there. One of the couples we know found out that we were looking for furniture, and gave us there couch and chair from downstairs. If you go to church ask around there, or ask family and friends maybe they might know of someone. I really hope that you guys get something soon. Take care and please keep me posted. I'm so sorry to hear you're having a hard time! I don't have anything to offer you personally, but you could try joining some freecycle groups, people are always giving away household items and furniture. Just go to www.freecycle.org and find Michigan in the US Central link on the right. There are groups for most cities, but you can join any group if you're willing to drive to that city to pick up the items you're offered.
