My house is in need of foundation repair. Never had to do this before and have no experience in this area. Would like to hear from you, who you have used before, good or bad and if there is anything that you found out along the way that would be helpful for me to know.

Thanks for your time.

J.

We had our foundation done last year. I had 6 quotes from various companies. Don't waste your time with Olsham. They are good but so overpriced. We and some friends of ours went with PermaPier. Very impressed. They weren't the cheapest (probably 3rd cheapest) but we just felt comfortable with them. Check the companies out on the better business bureau. It's alot of money so you want it done right. Make sure it comes with a transferable warranty and get an engineering report. Good luck.

Hi J.!

As a REALTOR in the Lewisville and Lake Cities area, I have had several clients with homes that required foundation repairs. I have had many of them use PermaPier and they were very pleased with the service and the quality of the workmanship.

Best of luck!

We got our foundation repaired last year, and are glad we did it. If I remember correctly, we used A+ foundation. We invited 3 companies to bid, then picked them because of their low price and professionalism. They did a good job. As soon as they lifted the front & side of our house, we were able to close our doors again (several would stick before) and the crack in our ceiling closed up. Your yard / landscaping will be torn up around your house which is a hassle, but worth it, I guess. Make sure you check your sprinkler function (if you have one) before they leave because they cracked ours, but repaired it when I pointed it out.

Good luck!

MBR Guaranteed Foundation Repair. Ask for Phillip Duffin ###-###-####.

MBR is a very reliable company has been in business for a long time and stands behind their work. Their prices are close to the best you will find for a reputable company. As a Realtor, I have run up against some issues with other companies not standing behind their warranties - so it is definitely important to do your homework and go with someone that will be around in the future. Also, save your paperwork! If/when you sell, you're gonna need it.

Whatever company you choose should include a 3rd party engineers report, if not, go with another company. The engineer will go out to inspect the property, show required repairs, and re-inspect at the completion of work.

Feel free to contact me if you have questions. I deal with this situation a lot.

Good luck!
